Torquay

Torquay is a British city, located along the Channel, southern England, near Devon.
It is administratively attached, since 1 April 1998, the unitary authority of Torbay, which it is the county seat, which also includes subdivision, down south, the coastal towns of Paignton, with which it forms a single agglomeration, and Brixham, and a few small communities of less importance to the interior.

Torquay is an important part of what is often called the "English Riviera", judged by its climate milder and "cleaner" than the rest of England, as warmed by Atlantic currents. Subtropical plants were able to adapt, like aloes, camellias, fig trees, fuchsias, oleanders, magnolias, myrtles.
