And this young people are making wonderful nightlife and arts scene, so that is one of the main reasons why Graz has become one of the liveliest places in Austria, almost like Vienna.

This attractive place with bristling green parkland, red rooftops and a small, fast-flowing river that passes through its centre, is one of the most relaxed and the most pleasant cities in Austria.

Its architecture will definitely fascinate you with the incredibly junction of Renaissance courtyards and Baroque palaces and cutting-edge modern designs. The surroundings of Graz is a magnificent landscape with vineyards, mountains, forested hills and thermal springs, and they are easily accessible, by the glass lift, the funicular or through the beautiful bluff connected to the centre by steps.
